Anyone else think this is a good idea?

Western states are one-by-one committing to a sort-of "Super Tuesday" early primary all on the same day.

As a Westerner myself, I think it's a great idea to drum up some early attention out here.

So far, Utah and New Mexico are on board, with Nevada, Hawaii, Idaho, and Washington possible.

The slingshot effect from Iowa and New Hampshire might still might be in effect. This is what happened before.

What is the date of New Hamshire's primary? Unless this Super Primary is at least 10-14 days after that, it will still be the same thing as before.

(Yes, I like Kerry. But the primary process is broken. It is not democratic or fair. The effect of bunching up primaries into one SuperPrimary is to give the caucus and primary that precede it even more power, not less. I'm not sure this is a good thing for the Democratic PArty and any eventual nominee. And it will cost a whole lot more for candidates to run. That eliminates a lot of people.)

What are the dates for Iowa and NH?
