The final nail in his coffin will be if he vetoes the anti-torture
legislation and the (his) congress overrides his veto.

4. When and if he does veto that bill
the Democrats better unleash the troops. They could hammer the final spike into his coffin.

I am assuming the Democrats have a gag order on, they seem very quiet lately. Then again why say anything when the White House is doing so poorly on it's own.

9. They always seem very quiet.
Which is why I told the guy hitting me up for funds for the party that I'm willing to give a lot WHEN they take advantage of all the mistakes Bush and pals are laying at our feet.

Edited on Thu Oct-13-05 09:07 PM by longship
When it hits the House, the House Repugs will kill the torture provisions in the bill. Contact David Obey(D-WI) and make sure it doesn't happen.

11. Yeah, and I want to hear every elected Democrat singing from the
rooftops and mountain tops that Bush does NOT support our troops. The Democrats better get their shit together by coming out with a plan and a clear message. The media will give them a little air time when Bush starts going down and they HAVE to have something to offer.
