Miers' Faith in Spotlight (evangelical Christianity)
http://tinyurl.com/9bo3f

Just in case this hasn't been posted today.

Evangelical Christianity.

How much more does anyone need? Count on Intelligent Design being passed if it's run past her and Roberts on the Supreme Court.

Why aren't people screaming in fits? This is a trend, this is a real problem. This is freedom vanishing. This is BushCo agenda for decades.

1. I fear Miers' votes also, if for no other reason than a dangerous fool
has appointed her.

Just as easily, I could be wrong, and she could turn out to rediscover some early notion of independent feminism. I'd love it if she did.

But I think your fears are well-placed. Any Bush appointment tends to be an assault on liberty.

3. The biggest swipe at liberty
enacted by the Court in decades came in the previous session, and Bush appointments had nothing to do with it. You may remember it......Kelo vs New London....

Regardless of who the sitting President is, I'd very much like to see those five Justices removed from office, as their stance on Personal Liberty, with respect to property rights, is abundantly clear.

4. Good point. I have a list also, and it includes
FEMA's Mike Brown and Mr. Death Squad himself, John Negroponte.
