2. Clinton is the distraction |
|
for Bush's base. No matter what Bush does, they point fingers at the Big Dawg and scream about how wicked he is. Bet this is all FR will be talking about today.

4. Louis Freeh wants to know why Clinton never fired him. |
|
Maybe it was because Clinton was in a bind. Firing his incompetent FBI director would have created a firestorm from the right-wing who were getting press preferential treatment. They would have spinned it as a Saturday Massacre.

5. Everytime Clinton appears in public, be it to answer his critics, or |
|
to give his opinions, he comes out ahead. I hope they keep his name before the public. The difference between Clinton and Bush is stark and it has to remind people that Bush being appointed to his first term was the biggest blight on capitalistic democracy in history. As for Clinton detractors..."bring 'em on!"

6. ha-ha!! They caught Louis Freeh on the computer illiteracy! |
|
Edited on Sun Oct-16-05 08:50 AM by The Backlash Cometh
Russert pointed out that the FBI was still using 386 and 486 computers under Louis Freeh's watch and mentioned that it was said he had removed the computer from his office. Freeh said, that's ridiculous, "The computer was never in my office, it was behind my desk." WTF?

8. I think he said, "he was never in my office"? |
|
either way this guy is a major prick, damn what an attitude. did you catch his hesitation when asked if he'd be willing to debate Berger on the show? heh.

9. I'd love to see that show down. Berger or Clarke. Whoever has |

the biggest axe to grind.

7. I'm sorry, I swear they said zClinton and Freeh, showed |
|
shots of both beside each other on the screen. I've been waiting for Bill to walk out and surprise this Freeh jerk, but I guess they consider a quote from Clinton last Thursday "being there"
but it is an interesting interview, wtf is this "my computer is behind my desk?" on the floor, unplugged, he means?

10. I'd like to know more about this rumor. I guess it would be easily |
|
dispelled if someone could come up with an e-mail from Louis Freeh from when he was FBI director.

11. In the early 90's I knew a lot of execs that had the computer behind |
|
them on a credenza and their desk clear for "real work". These were the guys that refused to go paperless and slowed the system down by sending stuff handwritten to the "typing" pool. Hell, i worked for a publishing firm that insisted when they FINALLY got most staff PC's that we order computer tables to put behind our desks so again, our desks would be clear the "paperwork".
I think its safe to say Freeh was part of that slow to change dinosaur culture.

What are the chances that Clinton would ever be seen holding hands with Saudi royalty?! He had other preferences!

15. Freeh is an asshole and ... |
|
I fear, a stupid one at that.
Fuck him. He never made any mistakes. If that big bad Bill Clinton hadn't been such a magnet for allegations from the bizarre right wingers, he wouldn't have put all that energy into it.
He should stick his head back firmly up his ass and jump for joy.
