Freeh on MTP did not have much credibility
Russert quoted source after source that discredited Freeh and showed that he had motives to go after Clinton.

Also I noted his use of the word "incompetent," or "talk about incompetence."

Hmmm, gee, don't think he was encouraged to write this by any dirty tricks experts in the gop, do we?

2. I Liked his closing statement (whine) about
people criticizing him on meetings or conversations they weren't privy to. Funny, wasn't that what he was doing with Clinton's supposed request to the Saudi's for a contribution to his library? He had a source who was not the interpreter who said that Clinton said that. Ok. Source wasn't Clinton and presumably not the Prince and not the interpreter who has sided with Clinton. What crap.

Slimeball.

4. Yes, the absence of a 3rd party in the photo of Clinton and the
Prince in the Rose Garden was glaring.

Other than the photographer and maybe an interpreter...well...enuf said.

He was very unimpressive in speech and demeanor.

6. More likely it is part of the Rove-orchestrated deflection
away from the failings of the GOP with that tired old 'blame Clinton' crap for what ails the country.

7. I agree, and suggested as much in the opening post:
"Hmmm, gee, don't think he was encouraged to write this by any dirty tricks experts in the gop, do we?"

13. Actually, i belive that Bandar WAS his source
at least, that's what other articles have implied. Bandar told Freeh everything he wanted so desperately to hear. Mainly, anything negative about Clinton.

3. Freeh also like the used the "inept" term quite a bit.
And parroting the message of the PNAC by going after Iran for being responsible for Khobar Towers and of course, without fail, the inevitable Clinton bashing.

Freeh got Monday's RNC talking points ahead of time.

5. I can't get excited about this twerp
bashing Clinton left and right. He has zero credibility even with the bush admin. With all this wonderful experience he has gained you'll notice he has not been offered a posiition in Homeland Security. For that matter why isn't he still the FBI director? I suppose he's useful to them babbling about Clinton and attempting to deflect blame for all the fuckups but I gotta believe this asswipe is simply infuckincompetent or worse delusional.

9. Keeps repeating this "on going investigation" mantra
and no one offers up the fact that all investigations, except the blow job, led to no wrong doing.
It was the Republican urging to investigate that is to blame for his poor performance, if not his own incompetency.

10. Russert made him look bad
but, still - why was that creep even given face time? Aren't there more important people out there to interview?

11. It was too easy for Russert shoot Freeh down
as yousay, source after source that indisputably refuted Freeh. I guess the quality of the book he wrote is a reflection of the job he did at the FBI.

12. I assume so, I think quality or lack thereof is usually pretty
consistent throughout a person's work.

I was kind of irritated he was going to be on and for a long, long time.

Now I'm glad as I watched it with trepidation, but came away totally convinced that he is not worth paying any further attention to.

14. I'm suprised, pleasantly in this case, that Russert played...
"Real Hardball" with Freeh. Usually, it's just kissing arse to the right wing for Tim.
