I know the Saints are, for obvious reasons, the team people want to see win, but I'm sure even the players don't want it handed to them on a silver platter. I seem to remember reading in SI an article that quoted one player as not wanting to be pitied (a sentiment I'm sure is echoed throughout the team). One way to pity them would be to abandon your team and throw a game or to root for a team simply because of their circumstances even though you've been a die-hard fan of another team your entire life.
