Condi Rice's stupid remarks on Meet the Press this past sunday

At one point during Russert's interview with Rice he showed a poll recently taken that gave Bush a 2% approval rating and 86% disapproval rating among blacks. I don't remember the exact questions that the poll addressed, but Rice tried to minimize the results saying she really hadn't had time to study the results and further she doesn't pay attention to polls. She went on to cite the wonderful minority appointments that Bush has made in his cabinet.

How can this woman say such stupid things? 2% vs. 86%????? Maybe she thinks it's actually a whopping 3 or 4% approval. Is she out of touch or what?
