Bush Approval Ratings In All 50 States!
Edited on Tue Oct-18-05 03:33 PM by BamaLefty
Listen to these extremely red states! Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and more!!!

Rhode Island wins the award for the nation's smartest political state for October. Rhode Islanders disaprove of Bush by a margin of 70-29%! Vermont was next with a net -40%.

19. What the hell is wrong with my state!
I am embarrassed that the people of utah are so blind to the truth that they approve of bush more then any other state. Maybe it's that blind faith thing thats so popular here in utah.

I am a Utah Democrat and i do my best every day to tell the truth about the bush crime Family

This Really Pisses me off. I thought Utah democrats were growing fast in numbers.

What's the deal with the other NW and Midwestern states? Are they too pro theocracy? The Christian Coalition has deep roots in many of those states, that must be what it is.

I think the South has noticed hurricanes a lot more, and the highest approval states don't have earthquakes either. Of course Alaska is an anomaly by that standard.

What's amazing to me is that people in seven states still approve of Bush!

It's wilderness states like Alaska, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Utah.. like that. It's a tie in Mississippi.

What's wrong with those people?

Thanks. This is great -- Bush is in trouble even in a lot of southern states (Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, et al.). And looking at the state-by-state graphs, the disapproval gap is growing in many states!

Our of idle curiosity, I'd like to see those states where the approval rating has increased.

Short of that info, what is interesting is those states that have a positive net approval rating:
Idaho
Alaska (tranportation pork?)
Nebraska
North Dakota
Oklahoma
Utah - the largest net positive rating
Wyoming - they love Unca Dick

34. At Last, Our Country Unites for the Good
Ha, ha, ha! Michigan is 33% approve, 65% disapprove, a -32% approval rating. Of course, Kerry won here, and Gore before that, so it is not one of their States turning, but still fun. All the Southern States turning against Bush proves once again the falseness of the "D"LC claims that the whole country is so "conservative," just like Republicans, and only we are out of step, etc., etc., that our only hope is to be like them. Now you find, that as the Republican devil rips apart every hope we once had of paying off bills--(esp. credit card), getting to retire someday, not fearing losing heat during the Winter--as they actually kill every security we used to have in the modern world, all for their little club of rich capitalists--that the threat has become real, and they really will slit your throat just to gouge a little more money out of you.

After all these years of having to fight off their media-supported campaign against us, ("latte liberals," "..hate America," "victim psychology," blah, blah, blah), while censoring our reply, the one thing they can't censor or keep under their control, is people's own knowledge of their own situation, and how they can't pay their bills or get gas for their cars anymore--and how it was all just so sudden; as soon as the Republicans wanted it to happen. The middle class people of this country were always more like us than like Republicans, but we had anti-Democratic, corporate propaganda coming at us, and at everyone else, from all directions, and fell for it for too long. Help the middle class and poor, and we will be the majority Party again.

Only a few remote mountain states (Idaho, Montana) and Alaska seem to have a positive opinion on him. This IMHO further underscores the magnitude of Brian Schweitzer's accomplishment in winning the Montana governorship for the Dems. If he can do that, he could probably win in quite a few other places. Maybe someone to consider as a running mate.

Went right to my state, Virginia, since I'm campaigning hard for Tim Kaine, our next Governor, Democrat and strongly supported by Mark Warner!

How about that 41% approve 56% disapprove in VA.

That's not translated directly into the Gov race where it's neck and neck with Kaine pulling away slightly, maybe more by this weekend.

Watch this race folks. If Kaine wins, it means two things...1) Republicans have negative coat tails with * at the top and 2) Warner will get a lot of credit and have some real 'big mo' in running for President.

If Warner is as smart as I think, he'll start veering left (his natural place anyway, he's a true entrepreneur who cares deeply for people and walks the walk).
