lol! Anyone just see that pile of crap? They blabbed on and on, ripping Wilson, but with little or any criticism of the White House.

3. Andrea Mitchell spouted the GOP line that Cheney did not send Wilson.
Guess what? Cheney directed the CIA to send someone and they sent Wilson. Why do these whores not mention this--cause they damn sure know it's true!

We know why, of course. They are pimping for Shrubco.

7. How is that even relevant to ANYTHING? This is worth a re-read:
Rove's Defense
from allhatnocattle.net
Rove's defense: author unknown
Karl didn't do anything wrong.
And even if he did, Valerie Plame wasn't a spy.
And even if she was, she wasn't undercover.
And even if she was, Wilson told everyone
And even if he didn't, everyone knew who she was anyway.
And even if they didn't, she had not done anything secret on the last 5 years.
And even if she did, outing her wasn't a crime
And even if it was, outing her did not ruin a 20 year CIA operation and their front company Brewster & Jennings
And even if it did, outing her did not endanger her and her family
And even if it did, outing her did not endanger otherCIA agents who worked for her
And even if it did, they deserved it because her CIA group was out to get Bush
And even if they weren't, Wilson lied.
And even if he didn't, it was trap concocted by Wilson's buddy Clinton and his wife Hillary to get at Bush
And even if it wasn't, Wilson was a partisan Democrat.
And even if he wasn't, his report wasn't important to anyone outside the Wilson household.
And even if it was, it was full of mistakes and grammar errors.
And even if it wasn't, everyone leaks intel like that in Congress.
And even if they don't, David Corn outed her first
And even if he didn't Novak never said her name
And even if he did he was never warned by the CIA not to do it
And even if he was Rove never said her name
And even if he did there is no proof
And even if there's proof, Rove only was only trying to prevent a mistake
And even if there was no mistake to prevent, Rove heard it from another reporter
And even if he didn't, he didn't know it was his job to prevent the leak
And even if he did, it's not like he signed a document saying he would never do it
And even if he did, it's not like Rove's boss promised to fire anyone involved
And even if he did, it's not like Bush signed a document saying he had to take corrective action
And even if he did, there is no proof someone from the WH blabbed
And even if there is proof, Judy Miller is not going to talk
And even if Judy talks, she was never working on a story about Wilson
And even if she was, there are no notes and the NYT denies it
And even if there are notes, Rove never mentioned any of this to anyone in the WH
And even if he did, no one will ever find the e-mail
And even if they find it, Rove had just forgotten about it
And even if he didn't forget, he lied to Bush and GW is innocent
And even if he isn't Democrats and Clinton are 'out to get Rove and Bush with lies and innuendo
And even if they are telling the truth... Hey look over there: See Miers? Letter from Al Qaeda? Avian Flu? Subway terror Alert
Valerie who? This is old news...

13. They are clinging to that little tidbit of nonsense..
like ants on a log. But they are headed straight toward a waterfall.

I laugh whenever I hear a media whore or Republican apologist bring that up, as if it's a valid excuse for treason. The more they invest in the lies and the cover up, the more they will lose.

19. Andrea either lacks reading comprehension or she is a GOP TOOL
Wilson editorial here:

http://www.truthout.org/docs_03/100203B.shtml

<snip>

In February 2002, I was informed by officials at the Central Intelligence Agency that Vice President Dick Cheney's office had questions about a particular intelligence report. While I never saw the report, I was told that it referred to a memorandum of agreement that documented the sale of uranium yellowcake — a form of lightly processed ore — by Niger to Iraq in the late 1990's. The agency officials asked if I would travel to Niger to check out the story so they could provide a response to the vice president's office.

5. Question: Why does Tweety have Stephen Hayes of
The Weekly Standard on his show?

The Standard is Bill Kristol's Neocon rag that was pumping the country for the Iraq War. Kristol was one of the founders of PNAC.

He is put on with Newsweek's Howard Fineman. Fineman is more centrist and Newsweek is more of a news journal than a political gazette like The Weekly Standard.

This is never explained to the public. They are both presented as "journalists" from their respective magazines. As a result, Hayes' blatant and one-sidedly biased account of Joe Wilson's report and what Wilson supposedly said after coming back from Niger is given the patina of journalistic "truth".

This is journalism at its worst. "Journalists" like Stephen Hayes should come with warning labels: "Statements from this man are potentially misleading and should not be regarded as factually accurate!"

21. Hayes and other GOPers continue to try to discredit Wilson,
however, it is not Wilson who is being investigated. This crowd is desperately reaching and grasping. They'll be at their most dangerous in the near future, because there is nothing more dangerous than a wounded animal -- and I believe Fitz is about to inflict some serious wounds.

11. You wont believe this
""The Weekly Standard on his show?

Stephen Hayes eyes were bugging out of his head when he began talking about Wilson. The entire time he laid into Wilson, never discussing who was at fauly in the White House. Then, when he was done, Teweety called him a "brilliant reporter", and said he was" right about everything he said".

How can Joe Wilson be wrong.

He said that Iraq did not try to buy uranium from Niger.

The administration has already admitted this 2+ years ago.

At least when you lie, make it something hard for someone to prove a lie. Yeesh.

F'rinstance, to me, you're a newbie. But calling you or anyone Newbie is frowned on, according to TOS.

And if you check his post # (24, IIRC) relative to yours (22?), that was what led me to believe that he just replied to the final (position, not post #) in the thread at the time.

Interesting visual re: Rep debs and finishing school. IMO, most of their leadership could have benefitted enormously from attending - maybe half of 'em wouldn't be under indictment / investigation now.

line of defense about Wilson co-ordinated by someone. Everyone is required to refer to him as an 'idiot' (such an idiot that he got the yellow cake story right. Everybody has to site the minority addendum to the Senate Intelligence report and claim that it was a bipartisan finding. These people are being coached.

I am dismayed with the lack of impartial attempts to present the truth in so much of the media so we end up with diametrically opposed views of events when there can only be one true version. Moderators like Matthews are disgraceful for not nailing those who are spewing out so much misinformation and outright lies or at least pointing out to viewers that those guests are partisan. Matthews failed to identify the Weekly Standard guy as being a partisan pro-right commentator leaving impression he was a knowledgeable reliable journalist.
