FEMA's Brown needed more time for dinner
Just when you thought it couldn't get any weirder, emails released by FEMA show that Michael Brown needed more time to eat dinner before he could respond to Katrina.

1. Mr. Director, there is a major hurricane which is hitting the Gulf! People
are dying!

Brown: People will be dying here if that waiter doesn't get my dinner on the table, Pronto!

4. It's true: Right on Faux news.
"Less than three hours later, however, Brown's press secretary wrote colleagues to complain that the FEMA director needed more time to eat dinner at a Baton Rouge restaurant that evening. "He needs much more that 20 or 30 minutes," wrote Brown aide Sharon Worthy.

"We now have traffic to encounter to go to and from a location of his choise, followed by wait service from the restaurant staff, eating, etc. Thank you."
:wow:

2. You know, I saw an article about this...

...posted here earlier. I didn't read the last couple paragraphs so when I saw a DUer posting about Brown needing more time to eat dinner I thought the poster was making a joke. A couple minutes ago one of my coworkers came across the article and read aloud the part that I'd missed. I'm still stunned by it.

3. Are the misspellings in his secretary's email in the original I
wonder?
