Who's lying? Chris Matthews mentioned this in passing on his show today. I recall that Fitzgerald had called Russert to testify...How much more could this story expand? Could there be other media figures, besides Judy Miller, involved in this conspiracy?

2. I wouldn't believe I. "Scooter" Libby if his tongue came notarized

(with my hat off to Judge Marilyn Milian)

I mean, c'mon. . . .

"Um, A Reporter Told ME!!!!!!" is about as credible as "The Dog Ate My Homework."

and he basically told Judy to lie for him in the Aspens-are-turning letter.

I mean, c/mon. . . .

A "catchphase" from Judge Milian, The People's Court

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marilyn_Milian

She has another one for "questionable" testimony which applies to Rove talking points:

"You're either the dumbest person ever born or a bold-faced liar!"

4. It's actually closer to "The homework ate my dog."
Since it actually isn't possible for Russert to have told him, "The homework ate my dog." is a closer analogy.

6. I don't believe Davis and I don't trust Russet
all he has on his show any more are Repugs. No balance, just the republican talking points. Maybe he is trying to clear himself with the right wing by having only right wing talking heads. They are both untrustworthy.
