Bush policies take money away from the poor regardless of whether it kills them or not. I know people are dying because of the cuts in Medicaid, but you don't see them in the streets where the public can trip over them and stuff. So Bush gets away with it.

However, if they continue these policies, it won't be long before the streets DO have dead bodies lying in them. How long do you think it will be? This winter when heating bills skyrocket? When Bush eliminates all food stamps and Section 8 housing assistance? When Bush eliminate Medicaid completely and people can't get any medical assistance? I know from the UN report that infant mortality is going up because of Bush policies.

I wonder how long it will be before the number of deaths grow so large that Bush can't sweep it under the carpet anymore, and people start stumbling over bodies in the streets? Will the public at large STILL overlook the evil of Bush and his minions?

3. Dead bodies were in the streets in NO. It has started.
Your right that it will get much worse. We will see many people frozen to death this winter. It's such a bad time to be poor in America. I don't think these bodies will even be counted or mentioned in the news.

...invade Syria to make it all better.

That's what I'm afraid of.

5. Dead bodies show up on the streets of major cities every winter....
Edited on Thu Oct-20-05 08:37 PM by schrodingers_cat
And they just get passed on by, while everyone passes them off as a stinky bum sleeping off a night of dancing on the Night Train with Wild Irish Rose......

Desperate people are sometimes driven to desperate measures.
There is a Poverty Storm a-brewing in the US and the policies of this misadministration is the cause.

7. Uh, a month and a half ago.
Now the rest of the country gets the same treatment, without a hurricane first (except maybe in Florida).

10. I prescribe to a simple philosophy
Its nothing original and something already proven to be quite effective. Its simply breaking down wealth and power to its lowest common denominator and acting appropriately upon it.

Its the realization that all wealth and power is created by the masses of the working class and therefore is at their mercy. Without the working class creating the goods and services for the rich class, what does the rich class have? Without the masses of the working class allowing power to be wielded, what power do the so-called powerful have?

This is why I loved Minister Farrakhan's speech the other day. Because he pointed this out when he said that we need to examine hurricane katrina and learn a lesson from it. He pointed out that when it was just a mere tropical storm, nobody really paid any attention to it, but, he said, when it organized into a hurricane, and organized enough to a point where it was a category four and five - not only did people now pay close attention to it; masses of people got out of its way.

Of course the lesson here being, aint nobody in the rich and powerful classes going to pay attention to any of us unless we organize in mass.

We need to use this internet to organize mass national general strikes. This I believe is the only none violent way we can bitch-slap the rich and powerful back into the realization that it is the masses of the working class who wield the true power in this country and that when you take advantage of us and piss us off - there will be hell to pay. What we give'ith we most certainly can take it away.

Just think: Millions of people acting in concert around the country and re-discovering what our founding fathers did after the Boston tea party. That we the masses can do whatever we want, whenever we want, and impose whatever rules we wish against the rich and powerful whenever we feel like it and there aint a damn thing they can do to stop it. That is of course, if we are organized enough in solidarity with eachother.

11. Please wake UP. Is New Orleans not legitimate enough for you?
That was a trial run of the assaults they intend to do on our towns and our people if we don't stop them.

What else is new about the U$ of A?
With MSM as it is now, people don't know or care until they are there and then: TOO LATE!
