C&L Video Clip: Gary Hart refuses to put up with Hannity's punk-ass CRAP

How to talk to a Conservative Hack

Gary Hart in his own quiet way gives us all a lesson on how to deal with republican shills like Sean Hannity.

Video-WMP

Video-QT

Sean started off the interview like he usually when he talks to a democrat. He'll recite some phrases that Howard Dean or Dick Durbin might have said and then asks guests if they are embarrassed by them. Hart turned the tables on him when he reminded Hannity that Karl Rove said this: "Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers."

Hannity made believe that he didn't know what Hart was talking about and moved on to the next question. Gary completely stopped him in his tracks. Mr. Hart demonstrated a very simple and effective way to talk to a conservative hack. We all know Sean Hannity knew exactly what Gary Hart was talking about.

1. Hart had 20 years of dealing with REAL Repubs. He disdains Partisan HACKS.

He should have said "George Bush was handed the HartRudman Report on Global Terror on Jan 30, 2001, Sean. Why did Bush refuse to read it?"

I would love to hear Sean answer that one.

They're nothing but animals and bullies, and the only things that animals and bullies pay attention to are BIGGER animals and bullies! They retreat when they see that they're going have to take what they dish out. Respond to them in kind; they'll back down every time. So stop whining about how "unfair" and "mean" and "arrogant" they're being and RETALIATE!!!

5. Yep, that's pretty much it
We're WAAAAY too nice and civilized (as a party) when dealing with these people.

They need to be met with brute force (philosophically/argumentively speaking).

Just kick their ass. Period. It's the only thing they understand. Worry about civilities and niceties later.

That is the only way to handle them. When they bark, bite back, they will back down.

I believe that Delay and Frist are are showing Dem's that they are not as big and bad as their bark leads you to believe.

My hope rests in the jaws of Fitz, he seems to be a bulldog. Once he sinks his teeth in, the other little dogs will jump in and start taking bites out of the GOP as well. I believe we will start to see a feeding frenzy once they have tasted neoconservative blood.

Folks take it from an ex repub, they are a bunch of bullies, who prey on the weak. Stand up to them, it confuses the hell out of them when you show no fear!

8. Why should any liberal be on Hannity. He is a hack and should be disdained
Edited on Sat Oct-22-05 07:20 AM by rhett o rick
and ignored. Gary Hart was trying to sell his book so he legitimizes Hannity. Liberal shouldn't try to debate with a pitbull.
