You'd think this baboon would just shut the hell up and let his lawyer do the talking until this indictment by Ronnie Pearle plays itself out.

But noooooooo, this arrogant ass clown is making the whole talk and TV circuit blasting everyone involved in the case. Hannity is bending over and grabbing his ankles for him again this afternoon. DeLay is gloating that the left is angry because he is smiling his mug shot.(That mug shot needs a cap with a set of electrodes added to it)

Wouldn't you think his attorney would tell him to stuff a sock in it for a while? I think he's going to piss off his constituency with his cocky, circus like antics. If I were in his district I'd be livid. I wonder if he'll be smiling when he's whisked away to Camp Guiltyrepublican.

What do you think?

6. Old teacher adages:
1: The person who protests the loudest that they are innocent usually is the guiltiest.

2: He who insults their opponent first loses the argument.

Tommy-Boy is insutling Earle and screaming in every orifice in his slimy body that he's innocent.

Makes you wonder.

2. He is so arrogant I don't think he can help himself.
Really. I heard a sound bite from him from today, saying he would be exonerated, and I think he truly believes he will be. Be interesting to see his reaction if he is convicted -- probably explode with self-righteous indignation!

3. I started a thread here about a week ago re: the more DeLay
struggles, squirms, shouts, lies, wiggles, maneuvers, etc, etc...the worse it will get for him.

He is in quicksand. He's met his tarbaby. He's only making it worse and now his attny is helping to make it even more so.

5. My take on it exactly. I hope he never shuts up.
It puzzles me as to why he's doing that.

8. I think you hit the nail on the head...arrogance. I would add
he's so corrupt he thinks he is "the government." Plus, liars lie so much that then they believe their own bullshit.

7. This crap used to work for the GOP
Since 911, anytime anyone said anything they didn't agree with, they would use the UNPATRIOTIC argument, scream, yell, whine, and bellow. Problem is, they have a hard time transferring this 'wrap yourself in the American flag' technique in trying to formulate an argument re: this case. DeLay is using tired tactics that have worked in the past, but just DO NOT APPLY to his efforts to LIE, CHEAT and STEAL.

And when his stupid lawyer LIES to the judge, it is like sweet icing on the cake....

10. I think he looks like an asshole who thinks he's above the law...
... and I'm hoping his future jurors, who're out there somewhere possibly watching, think so too.

Once they decide who will be the judge in this case, I predict the judge--be he repuke or democrat--will smack down this asshole and make him stop parading around like he thought he was Joan of Arc or something.
