Charge michael brown with negligent homicide
The performance of the lackey bush appointed as director of FEMA during the early hours of the hell of katrina is documented here:

http://www.nytimes.com/2005/10/21/national/nationalspecial/21response.html?th&emc=th

You know the story, his subordinate in New Orleans during the hurricane trying to get in touch with brown, but ole "helluva job" brownie was too busy dining in baton rouge.

I'm no lawyer but I googled "negligent homicide" and found this:

"Unintentional killing(s) in which the actor(s) should have known they were creating substantial and unjustified risks of death by conduct that deviated from ordinary care."

He was the director of the FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY and was being paid handsomely. People were dying in NOLA. Does the above definition of negiligent homicide apply to brown's actions that night?

Why should he not be charged with negligent homicide? Because:

he's a republican
he's a buddy of bush's
he's a hero at free republic
he's a conservative and conservatives are not held accountable for anything

Please share your thoughts with your congressional representatives if you agree; if not please tell me why I am wrong or provide me with guidance. I'm passionate about this subject. I'm tired of people dying because of the neglect of this administration. Thank you for your two cents worth.

1. I'm on board with that, BOSS. And while we're at it, how
about Chertoff and shrubbie. It all happened under his watch.

2. Silliness
This is quite silly. No government official has a duty to protect individuals.

6. Its just been so silly going to funerals
Please tell me what the basis of his paycheck is(was)? To wine and dine at a nice steak house in baton rouge? To notify the white house that he got a phone call from one of his guys on the ground in New Orleans when he got around to it? Thanks for the constructive crticism I asked for. "Quite silly" flys under my radar.

3. Good thought. . .won't happen.
Poor minorities and the middle class commit crimes. . .rich white people make mistakes.

Is Michael Brown a poor minority? I rest my case.

9. Not only that
the victims were at least perceived to be overwhelmingly members of minority groups . Perps - rich and white, victims - poor and minority = mistake, no crime.

7. Actually...
in her ripping-him-a-new-asshole questioning of Chertoff yesterday, Cynthia McKinney asked him if he should be charged with homicide, since those nursing home employees were charged after leaving those elderly people during the flooding.

of the grand old party referring to her statement as over the top. Yes its over the top to expect a republican to be held accountable for his/her actions. Get a blowjob, we'll kick your ass. Be derelict in the performance of your duties which results in the deaths of citizens and any attempt at holding you accountable is just downright silly.

13. I'm standing by for someone
to tell me I'm wrong (not silly). That my suggestion that this man be investigated seriously for his role in the deaths of those in New Orleans and Mississippi because the agency he ran did not do its job; his boss said just that this week. He was concerned about dining accomodations while New Orleans flooded. His check did not stop. He had a job paid for by the taxpayers of this country. A criminal investigation is warranted as I have asked my congressman. Please, if anyone legitimately feels I am wrong (not silly) I appreciate your input. Bodies are still being identified and brown (to the best of my knowledge) is still on the federal payroll. Outrage??? Godforbid he got a blowjob.

15. BOSSHOG, I've been saying since the beginning
that these people should be charged with negligent homicide, and I include Bush in that. They all ignored what was happening in the Gulf, and I am still appalled and sickened by it. Somebody (or somebodies) should be held accountable for this debacle (and sorry, that seems like such a lame word).

And BOSSHOG, let me say that I was so happy when you first re-surfaced after Katrina. Lots of us were concerned about you and the other DUers who got caught up in the storm.
