Is There A DU Indictment Pool?
I'm kinda thinkin' -- Tues, three indictments, Rove will walk only because when people are such utter down to the bone swines, they usually have enough low friends in high places to get out of just about anything.

I'm thinking Libby and two lower-downs. What's everybody else's guess?

I'm going for a minimum of FIVE
and maybe more. If I am too optimistic, oh well, I enjoy it!

3. I am guessing Rove, Libby, Hadley, Fleicsher & maybe Bolton
go down, and Cheney resigns, I heard surfing the net, that the
resignation was part of the deal making. I think maybe weds, but the
lawyers met to discuss charges Friday, they also met today, so it
could even be tomorrow.

I think Rove will go because he's been totally unplugged lately from
fund raising and appearance.

4. OK, I'll go out on a limb
at least five people will be indicted; perjury, obstruction of justice hopefully someone will be indicted for treason.

cheney, rove, libby and two staffers to be named later. I can't keep track of miller's lies, but Fitz probably has it sorted out. The NYT won't have to worry about firing her.

bush - unindicted coconspirator

- The right wing noise machine will go insane

"criminalize politics"
"a perjury technicality"

What will they think of next.

12. Oh, to indict Rove AND Cheney...
I think I would shed tears of joy if it were so.

Not getting my hopes up, though. Prepare for the worst. Hope for the best. :)

7. I'm Thinkin' Stuff Will Come Out Of This To Sink KKKarl
Just a feeling I have -- that he'll eventually go down in flames but not this week necessarily.

I actually have no idea! I know I've seen lots of true predictions here on DU, looking for one now. Yeah...I'm feeling Wed, now that I think on it, Wed. That sounds good to me!

8. I'm preparing myself for NO indictments
I may be a pessimist by nature, or maybe it's just that the last four years have made me a pessimist, but I'm proceeding from the assumption that, pragmatic and dedicated though he may be, Fitzgerald may not think he has a strong enough case to net more than a few functionaries. I'd dearly love to be wrong.

9. Al Franken Said: Savor This Moment
Because there is def a chance of no indictments. I have to agree, but I'll still stick by my orig prediction -- 3!

10. I hope you're right!
I'm also hoping that, no matter how many indictments are or are not handed down, DU won't turn into a "Who got to him!?" dogpile. As hard it may be to watch from the outside, it must be several magnitudes worse to be Fitzgerald, unravel the entire vile enterprise, and be unable to slap everyone involved in irons.

11. after that "election" I am preparing for no indictments- BUT...
I think that they will be Wednesday.

Libby and 2 other staffers. Rove.

And I hope, I hope I hope that Cheney is indicted too- or resigns as a result of the other indictments.

What does happen if/when a VP is indicted anyway?
