5. Yes, at least a million spent on Kilgore's voice

He actually has a SW Virginia syrupy sweet accent (as does his twin brother-who still has a mustache) but the GOP was so scared of how their base would react to hearing it it had one of the rich benefactors here in Richmond pay for voice coach to work with Kilgore for two years.

Kilgore avoided debates or any actual televised event and I am pretty sure* this is part of it. They were trying to get him elected without his ever really having to stand up and speak to the public.

They cried and whined until Kaine signed a "no use" clause added onto the debate rules a few weeks ago. NO part of their last debate can be used in any ad...none. If you saw that debate you would understand why-Kaine was GREAT and Kilgore was embarassing.

Kilgore is a gooey, slippery, slimy little freak that looks and sounds like someday he'll be caught in a Hotel Room with either a dead girl or a live boy.

I've bookmarked that site. Here in Fairfax County we are being bombarded with an endless repitition of Kilgore's loathesome death penalty ads. It's good to get a look at the truth about our boy Jerry.

I have an thread about the LTTE's here in Richmond in the Va. forum.

I think they handled it very well even if they didn't act as vicious as I would have liked.

Those ads seem to be really turning on Kilgore.
