We're in for some history. Fitzgerald has already started. And thoroughly modern guy that he is, his signal was to put up the Fitzgerald "tell" -- his web site where he likes to release indictments. He faces unbelievable pressure. I was interested to read that he was a math major (econ also) at Amherst. Something about those math people when they go on point. He's having the case of his life and the greatest moment of his life when he indicts!

GAO was asked to study voting systems and elections. They did so and came back with the report that any quality research organization would produce -- the systems are lousy, insecure, and prone to misuse. They didn't pull any punches, just told the truth.

It's all about people we've never heard of, people just doing their jobs--prosecutors, researchers, etc.--people who care about their country.

THANKS to the vast majority who stayed on their posts in the Federal government.
