Honest... is anybody the least bit surprised Cheney gave up Plame to Libby
Because, nothing Dick does these days would surprise me. If body parts were found in Cheney's refrigerator I would probably just shrug my shoulders, keep drinking my morning coffee, and say something like: "Yup, I figured something like that was going on." I would be more shocked if I heard that Cheney didn't do something. Such as if a report came out that Cheney didn't meet with energy lobbyists or consult with Big Business while making some sort of legislation. It's almost more newsworthy and sensationalistic when Dick doesn't do something unethical. Sporadically they should have headlines in all the MSM papers like: " Dick Cheney Does Not Screw Somebody Over Today." Lead off with something like: "In a rare move, VP Cheney spent most of his day not meeting with lobbyists or trying to work on Orwellian legislation, he just relaxed at home and reportedly did not even play with his Death Ray in the basement."

Yeah, big surprise. Dick Cheney went after Valerie Plame. Shocked I am not.

1. Lookit. Did Dick Cheney get LARGE amounts of money . . .
from his years as Secretary of Defense of the George Herbert Walker Bush administration? Yes, he did. He made hay out of it when he joined Halliburton, a private defense contractor.

So? Who is surprised if Cheney's "moral code" doesn't cover outing Plame? Dissing the CIA? And causing a war upon fabricated "evidence?"

.

2. Not surprised at the story just think it is BS.
I seem to recall a different story about a certain memo circulated to the entire inner circle of the Cabal on AF1 prior to the outing that identified Ms. Wilson and her covert status. They all knew her status after that, and each and every one of them that went out on the coordinated PR campaign to destroy the Wilsons broke the law.

On the other hand it became clear this weekend that 'Scooter' is being prepped to fall on his sword.

The Special Prosecutor's office isn't leaking anything to anybody. At this point all information is coming from the 'not a target' crowd, and it is all self serving disinformation.

Merry Fitzmas

5. it's seemed that way for a while...
As if Scooter was going to be the designated fall guy if they ever needed one. You may have that right. Then again, much like Judy Miller, I forgot who told me about Valerie Flame, so you know how that goes.... :)

3. Cheney is beyond morality
In his self-selection to the VP spot to lead this corrupt and despicable cabal shows he is willing to project his heartlessness where it makes him the most money no matter the cost to all others.

4. lol's....that's about it....
Nothing is too low for Cheney. It's hard to know what could make a person who seems to have had a very lucky life be so evil and conniving.

6. the sweet nourishment of power feeds his blackened heart.....
that's why he's healthier than he used to be. Either that or the bathes he takes in the blood of young virgins. We don't know which as of yet. :)
