Gordon Liddy carrying on: Why, oh why, did Bush nominate Miers?
The bald headed goober is whining, no make that crying, over W's selection of Harriet Miers. He is calling for her name be withdrawn by Bush and replaced with someone of outstanding qualification, like Clarence Thomas.

Oh, this is so good. All the hard right in a circular firing squad waiting for the first one to squeeze the trigger.

Republicans really suck, don't they?

1. As others have indicated, don't rely on the Wing-Nuts to get her booted.
We still need to work to make sure she doesn't get onto the SC.

2. 'cause Our Fearless Leader wanted a Sex Symbol on the Supremes
Bush can only fantasize so much about what Clarence has under his robe
besides,
he gets an excuse to give Harry Harriet another Big Texas Born Again
Up and Down Vote

4. I'm thinking he nominated Meirs as payback and hush "money"
Meirs is the one who took care of Chimpy's TANG and DUIs and drug indiscretions back in the day. He is already looking at life after the White House and he has more than a few loose ends to tie up, hush up, and guarantee they never write a book. Chimpy is now moving all his cronies in places where they will be inclined to stay quiet after he leaves office. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

5. I've been thinking that way as well
Roberts, Miers, the greenspan replacement R all paybacks from his past or the '00 theft. Time for placement so they have pensions & healthcare paid for by all of us.
