3. Here's two problems with that:
1. When bush has a bad year, things go badly for the country

2. When bush has a good year, things go badly for the world

13. Well said
Maybe Bush having a bad year is the lesser of two FUBAR's. And to think that America's headlong decline into humiliation and debility these past 5 years could have been averted w/ a less boneheaded SCOTUS in 2000. Thank you, O'Connor, Kennedy, Scalia, Thomas, Rehnquist in Bush v. Gore-- your fingerprints are all over this fiasco of an Administration.

4. Well now I know who the President is speaking to when he says,
"the American people expect me to do my job" A pathetic group of 20%.

6. I just sat down in an office to make a phone call.
As I was waiting for the number to ring, I noticed a beat-up Newsweek laying by the phone. I picked it up.

It was an old issue from back in November of 2004. On the cover, there is a triumphant Bush, looking ecstatic. It says, "4 MORE YEARS". The rag is devoted to Bush's fantastic victory. Cheers. Tears of joy. Confetti.

Now, a mere 10 months later, I wonder how Bush feels. Still celebrating, old boy?

9. Update on the poll
How would you characterize this year for Bush?
A major failure 71%
A minor success 12%
A minor failure 9%
A major success 8%
Total Votes: 186,613

If you add the 71 percent who say major failure and the 9 percent who say minor failure, you have 80 percent saying Bush has failed to some degree.

Considering that most AOL polls lean conservative, that's kind of rmarkable.

11. Beginning of the End of the Bush Plague--They Can't Hide Their Crimes Now
Wow, that is so beautiful. At long last, I love Americans again. I think we have returned to life. The only good thing about this surrealistically tragic year (and etc.) is that it has taught people what the facts are: no matter what anyone claims about anyone, Republicans are greedy, selfish, incompetant, stupid, and criminal. Their Administrations never turn out any other way.
