Jeb: "We've got a response team that is second to none."
"We've got a response team that is second to none," Governor Bush said in a Tallahassee news conference. "We will get through this storm and respond quickly."

In Miami today, the police tried to control a crowd fighting to enter the Orange Bowl in hopes of getting water and ice.

5. Jebbie needs to watch more TV! I heard what he said, but
I also say the horrific long lines of people sitting in stopped traffic, trying to get water, ice, and some other living essentials.

Oh, and there's that other little tidbit that was one the news. 6,000,000 people are without power in Fl. and the power Co says it could take a month to get it restored!

Now, I'm not blaming all that on Jebbie! But he really needs to take a few lessons in "How not to be too arrogant!"

8. Was it FEMA that made the folks line up for hours for 3

bottles of water and a bag of ice?

That's what I just saw/heard on TV.

Tones of cases of water with no one to distribute it.

One man was handing out all the "supplies" and there were babies there too.

11. Yes it was FEMA that brought the water and ice in, but Jeb keeps
saying how WE have everything under control, and we know what we're doing. And earlier today, I heard that new head of FEMA P(something) who lives in Fl, said it's the locals job to take care of all of these local problems, but we're here to help them.

Again, maybe this is the best that can be done under the circumstances, I don't know. I think it's the arrogance of Jeb, who wants to make sure that Dem. Gov. on La. looks bad, keeps bragging about how GREAT he's going to handle things, and HIS state knows what they're doing!

7. The other night...
I heard Jebbie say, they would get through it just fine, because; after all, they were Floridians, and knew what to do when hurricanes hit. I searched for mention of it on the internets, but couldn't find any. Must have been scrubbed. It was an insult to all those who died or lost everything from Katrina.

If I could have reached through the screen, I would have slapped the shit eating-grin right off his face.

All the Bushes are Ass Holes.

12. Must be the same team they used on NOLA
because those a--holes were actually a hindrance to citizens trying to help each other out.

None would have been an improvement. 2nd to none was what NOLA got and what Jebbie's promising to hand out.
