OMG! Did I just hear (on Air America)
A wingnut admit that we went to war in Iraq for oil and that we all knew that Iraq had nothing to do with 911, but that it was ok that we were lied to because we all need the oil to run our cars.

Right there folks....there it is right there. These sick SOB's who proclaim themselves as being the party of life, justice and integrity just had one of em admit that they are no better than a Nazi. That it is ok to be one, just so long as we are the beneficiaries of these horrific actions against humanity.

Anybody else hear this guy a few moments ago?

2. I didn't hear it, but it doesn't surprise me.
They simply don't give a shit about anyone but themselves. They have proven that over and over again. To them, the end always justifies the means. The God they claim to worship would be so proud. :eyes:

By the way ... welcome to DU! :hi:

3. So as long as crazy can drive his car it doesn't matter how many
innocent people (our or theirs) gets killed?

That is one of the most morally bankrupt statements I've ever heard.

7. I have heard this statement from many Bushbots
I guess they think that relieves them from the guilt of our dead troops and Iraqis?

4. It may be the first time you heard it on AAR, but I've heard
the same or very similar statements on cspan WJ many times!

The caller will say "It doesn't matter why we went to war in Iraq. Saddam was a bad man, and we need the oil!" or "Even if Saddam wasn't prepared to get us right now, we know he wanted to, and we couldn't let him control all that oil!"

You hear comments like that every time they have a subject that deals with the validity of the war, or should we have invaded Iraq, or any subject close to those.

9. Hugo Chavez
I was just as disgusted the other night when I was watching a news video clip and some wingnut mouth piece bitch (can't remember her name right now) kept calling Hugo Chavez a criminal and a terrorist who's keeping us from all that oil. Her tone when saying "who's keeping us from all that oil" can best be described as "How DARE this man keep us from our oil".

All the other ones have some kind of bogus pretense about protecting america from some bogyman.

The weird part is that this will soon be the well known and accepted reason why we are fighting an endless war in Iraq.

"Yes, we invaded and bombed Iraq and took their oil BECAUSE WE COULD, that's why."

That, from Freeper at work.

"What are these Democrats sniveling about? We went there and are taking all their oil because they don't "own" it, and we need it for national security and nobody gives a crap about those people, they have no government and can't rule themselves anyway. They needed us to come in there and show them what's normal."

That, from my friend's husband.
