My Body Is All Screwed Up

I have had 3 hours sleep in the past 48 hours as I have been ON-CALL with my job. With it being Fitzmas Eve I will admit that I will be able to sleep without a question.

Pardon me while I take the toothpicks from my eyes and get ready to watch my favorite show on the Tube....Comander in Chief.

I get the opportunity to start another 48 tommorow.

you get so wired you cannot sleep.....oh, it's not a good feeling

3. I've been there too. You can only sleep lightly, because you

just know the damned pager is going to go off. You get so tired, you can barely hold your head up. I work in health care. Not a good thing for the patients who saw me after about 26 or so hours with no sleep. I don't have to take call anymore. Thank goodness.
