Smears lead to plame Disaster. GOP Reaction? More smearing.
Edited on Wed Oct-26-05 12:10 AM by niceypoo
Get ready for the worst, foaming at the mouth, smearing frenzy in GOP history. Viscious smear attacks on plame lead to GOP collapse. The GOPs reaction? What else? MORE SMEARS. Someone once said that the definition of insanity is to repeat the same behavior over and over always expecting a different result. I say its the definition of STUPIDITY!

2. Well ..
they don't have truth, they don't have facts, they don't have honesty, they don't have good intentions ... that doesn't give them much to defend themselves with. Smears and lies are all the have.

8. Let them all condone the indicted ... one year before an election
It'll give our side some great material to use in the campaign commercials!

16. The closest thing has got to be Watergate
But now, there are so many of them under scrunity for so many different things ... it's mind-boggling! I don't think there's one honest person left in the party!

Did you see the STATE BY STATE GOP SCANDAL SCORECARD posted by OKthatsIT? It's amazing!

6. That's fine let 'em rip
All the polls point to the fact that America doesn't trust or believe the Corrupt Conservative Propagandists any longer.

Let 'em rip, the MSM smells blood, and blood is what they love, not truth as we found out for nearly 5 years.

9. When they started with the perjury faux pas (what was BC's crime)
they put the biggest nail in their coffin. The line went something like, "Something like perjury after the fact is not that big of a crime", it is so easily challenged (Yes *, may have his Satanic cult of 30% who can't figure it out), but just 2 or 3 questions, will bring those so called Christians to their knees. I am a Christ follower.

The Republicans played to a starved, attention deficit Christian base, they got them to vote and now they are losing them fistful at a time. The true Christians could never support *, I didn't but mainly from Du's influence.

They know BC lied under oath, (perjury), I know (the questions asked, were not relevant to his position and they had no right to do so), but it harmed no one. * and his administration can't justify their perjury and I am pretty sure that the dying claim will be substantiated!

13. I believe that you are a true Christian.
True Christians don't wear religion on their sleeve. They also feel that people should be judged by their works, not their rhetoric.

I say that because I live in Fundie country and the hypocrisy drives me insane!!

The same pundits who are absurdly smearing Fitzgerald as a partisan zealot were notably silent during the Whitewater disgrace.
http://www.salon.com/opinion/conason/2005/10/21/miller_times/index_np.html

Republicans are in a frenzy to smear Fitzgerald as well as Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson. Isn't that what got them into this mess to begin with?? Will they ever learn??? NO....because they are.....

11. I really think..
.... that there is a real possibility that given the average American's current respect for this administration that their spin will merely dig them in deeper.

There just isn't a long line at the kool-aid booth any more :)
