Dems, Repukes, say that they were convinced byColon Bowl's: Aluminum tubes and yellow cake from Nigeria. I am a simple citizen and I knew (from former experience but you could look it up on the NET at that time) that anodized tubes aren't used for centrifuging uranium and that yellow cake from Nigeria is strictly controlled and that Iraq under the bombings having lasted 12 years couldn't process enough to make a bomb. And the good old biological warfare truck!?!??! Level four can't be contained to do the lab work necessary to do biological warfare reseach necessary. I guess tarps qualify as level 4. Don't tell me Congress Critters don't have aides that can research this on the WEB or from their so-called channels! Jesus H. Christ! the Intelligence Committee is that IGNORANT (Goddess SAVE Us)! They were all CHICKEN LIVERS! They were afraid of the MSM and Bu$hCo! and did a disservice (treasonous I would say) to the American People whom they supposedly represent! END OF RANT! I am just sick and tired of an American Sheeple with 2 rightwings who are for the: Congressional-Militario-Industrial-Corporatist-Empirist-Plutarchy-Oliarchy that is in control.

stood up for their rights. Talk about chicken livers.
American rightists have transferred their spine to Bushco and just said just take care of me and give me a big tax break and all is even.

and no-fly zones and surveillance flights and weapons inspectors and PNAC documents and on and on ...
it was never credible that Iraq was an "imminent threat" to the US ...
the mistake wasn't just voting to authorize war; the mistake was trusting bush ...

If it was not for Fitzgerald the USA would be even further up shit creek than it is already. Why? You hit the nail on the head - the Sheeple are just that; they are too busy staring slack-jawed at their lying teevees and otherwise being "entertained".
Even worse, few of those politicians who COULD have spoken out did so, even though launching the USA and the UK (yes, we have this problem too) into a bloody war was predicated upon lies. I find it both astonishing, and disgusting, that those people who are at the political helm allowed it to happen, irrespective of their politcal hue. All the talk of "they had no choice" is really quite pathetic. Very few politicians had the guts to say "NO!" when the case for war was baseless. As you say, a little research would have exposed the truth.
Another why? Once again, you have hit the nail on the head: "Congressional-Militario-Industrial-Corporatist-Empirist-Plutarchy-Oliarchy that is in control." But a lot of people are not willing to face the truth.
