A Big Fitz Question. Indictments and Extension? |
|
This isn't rhetorical, because I don't know the answer. Please help out.
Can Fitz issue indictments AND ask for an extension to continue the case for possibly more?

3. I have all my digits crossed on that one Logiola. |

If I could cross my teeth, I would. I would love to see more crimes added - hell, I would love to see it go all the way to connections to the DSM's & Georgie boy.

2. Indictments can always be revised/corrected/added |

They're done all the time - with a grand jury's approval, of course.

4. Yes, this is best case scenario to nail down indictments now, & more later |
|
Sounds like an excellent development if Fitz can obtain several solid indictments now plus continue the investigation in order to bring even more serious charges later. He would have already been much further along if Cooper and Miller had cooperated sooner.

5. Does anyone know the answer? |
|
Does he have the power to extend and indict simultaneously, or does he have to rely on the DOJ approving a new investigation?
This is a BIG question because if he, or any other SP would have to start from scratch, it could be two more years.
