Congressman Conyers: Indictments Coming Tomorrow?
INDICTMENTS COMING TOMORROW?

Obviously, lots of buzz on the Internet on this topic. I see the Financial Times is also expecting indictments, that is plural, based on sources close to the lawyers involved.

Ominously, I also see Frank Lutz is laying down a marker for an anti-Fitzgerald smear campaign. FT writes, "However, Frank Luntz, Republican pollster and strategist. said: 'If indicts, they will have no choice but to attempt to demonise him. I think that is going to be really, really tough.'” If and when this happens, we will need to push back, and push back hard. I will try to blog my thoughts as soon as possible on this breaking story.

For those who signed the letter to Bush asking him not to pardon, thanks much, my last count was well over 5,000 and counting. That is a lot of emails to hit the White House.

1. Conyers for President!
Rep. Conyers has been our point man since the stolen election in 2000. I agree with him in that I think the repukes will try to demonize Fitzgerald. But it will be hard-what can they say? That he forgets baked lasagna and leaves it in the oven? That he had trouble adopting a cat?

3. "Tomorrow" may come
But the ink won't be dry on all the president's pardons if and when it does happen!
