This page made my Freeper workmate cry

We were discussing the news about the 2,000th death and someone I work with (who supports Bush) at first said maybe she shouldn't say it...but...2,000 dead isn't that bad for as long as the war has been...which she didn't really know when it actually started. Please note that this person is not a bad person, just woefully and stubbornly a Repug.

I looked at her and said they had died for lies and greed...she laughed and said that's conspiracy theory stuff...she is a fairly intent watcher of Fuax Snooze...and I remembered how Brit Hume once rationalized that the deaths that happened so far (this was months ago) was no big deal compared to living in LA...or the Korean War...

Anyway, I told her that she should check out this page. I came back to her office about an hour later and she was actually crying. She still would not admit that the war was wrong, but this page shows people who are for the war just who it is that is dying. I would highly recommend to anyone that has Freeper friends/associates to check out the site:

Ever since Chimpy has been hit hard, her support has waned...I can't get my mind around how anyone could like Chimpy at this point, but there are stubborn ones out there that are pretty softened up right now.

It's time to strike with the truth and make them forever hate the idea of contributing anything to the Neocons and the Rapture Right.

3. I for one do not need the site but I like to know that they have

their stories out here for us to read about them and know them as individuals who were loyal to our nation and to us.

What a comprehensive service they are providing. I've noticed a lot of sadness around, but it seems like the more obvious it becomes that we were lied to, the more tightly these freepers hold on to their illusions. Can you imagine what it would be like to wake up one morning and realize that the blood of all those fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, and children was on your hands? No, admitting error in trusting *'s lies would heap a guilt trip on these people that a lot of them couldn't live with, so they cling to the talking points for the sake of their sanity.

I feel a lot sorrier for the families of these women and men, many of whom have fought against this war from the beginning, others who are finding the truth, and those cling to *'s lies because they can't face the reality of what their loved ones died for.

for the crime of defending their own country against a foreign invasion.

We don't see those pictures. We don't hear those stories.

8. Freepers should also go see the doc Murderball.

It's about wheelchair rugby.

In the last 10 minutes of the movie they show the team teaching recent amputees at an army hospital how to play the game.

My audience gasped when they saw these people. They look like 12 year olds. Healthy, beautiful, smooth skinned children, except that they have missing arms and legs thanks to a war built on lies and greed.
