I don't remember. Did Thomas have more qualifications than Miers? |

I remember the ABA gave him the lowest "grade." He came from the Equal Employment office, I think but was he a judge?
And, it is not as if he has demonstrated any thinking on the bench, except to be a yes man to Scalia. Thus, when Bush says, or was told to say, that he wants someone in the mold of Thomas or Scalia - how can anyone even put the two of them together? If Scalia did not have an inflated ego, he would have been embarrassed to be put in the same boat.
