Should Democrats call for further investigation after indictments?
If Fitzgerald only indicts up to Rove and/or Libby tomorrow, should Democrats call for further investigation to get to the truth as to whether or not Congress and the American people were lied to in the run-up to the invasion of Iraq? And what benefit would it be to the Democratic Party or to the American people?

First of all, it would lay the foundation for an investigation before the Democrats won back the House or Senate, and if they perchance did win the House or the Senate, they would be ready from day one. Secondly, it would keep the Republicans off balance defending themselves from the truth that indeed we were lied into this war. They should not be permitted to escape without punishment or the judgement of the people. This should be a Democratic topic right up to election day next year, if Fitzgerald does not indict Cheney or Bush.

2. There should be a Watergate style hearings on the war
and the role played by the Bush regime to con the country into going to war. The hearings should led to someone introducing articles of impeachment in the House.

Democrats should be pounding on the GOP 24/7!

3. One of them
was on MSNBC tonight. It seems that over 40 of them signed a letter that they sent to Fitz. It requested he look into the possibility that the President knowingly lied to Congress, a Federal offense. They also stated that other administration officials, named Condi, Powell and Rummy, gave speeches referring to WMD, which if they knowingly lied, could be charged with a federal offense. It was a Dem from NY that got the signatures for the letter. So keep your fingers crossed guys.
