Miers' Withdrawal and the Myth of the Moderate Republican |
|
By forcing the withdrawal of Miers' nomination for the Supreme Court, the far right wing of the Republican Party has demonstrated it has taken total control over its party. "Moderate Republicans" no longer exist. There is no room for "moderates" in the Republican movement. We've all known this for a long time, but now we need to shout this from the rooftops. "Moderates" are not wanted in the Republican Party.
The Republican Party made a deal with the right wing devil, and the devil is claiming its soul.

Looking more and more like one team against us, the people. The government vs the people. And we keep on losing ground.
