When the Dems retake the WH in 08
How long will it take to clean up this mess. Bill Clinton had us moving in such a positive direction. Baby boomers are screwed now.

1. I don't think it can really be cleaned up now.
Had Kerry become president, he had a chance to reverse the decline. Now it's too late. By 2008 the total government liabilities will be far beyond what the economy can pay for. The next president will have a very tough time. The demographics are totally against restoring America's financial house.

We'll have outsourced most of our movable manufacturing base. The middle class will continue to shrink. And that's just the economic side of the disaster.

2. Most of us Baby-Boomers were the idiots who voted for...
Sad to say, but most of us Baby-Boomers were the irresponsible fools who voted for Gee Dubya Bush and the Banana Republicans.

4. It wasn't an overwhelming majority though
51% to 48%

great breakdown of voting patterns here:

Looking at those charts, it looks to be than income was a BIG factor.

3. * has pretty much destroyed the country. We exist now at the pleasure
of China. In the spring Iran will start trading their oil in Euros. If the governmnet has their way we will be in Iraq for decades at $1.5 billion a week. Probably more. The US is among the walking dead.

6. We must focus on reclaiming Congress in '06 first.
'08 is important, but lets do something about this horrible Congress first...then worry about '08.

9. Replied to your other thread. Working on Sister and BIL
She is not hard to convince. He thinks Republicans are "moral values" people. However, I did get him to at least listen to me this past weekend. He might have just been smiling and nodding too. I think I have my sister swayed to vote for Kaine...she really didn't know much about him.

10. We're not going to take the White House
Not going to happen as long as they control the voting process with their machines.
