Harry Reid For Prez in 2008

I think Sen Reid is brilliant. He single handedly convinced georgie boy to nominate someone who best reflect who bush is. Miers nomination proved that bush is engaged in cronism politics. It also showed that bush has no spine.

It is brilliant how this nomination nearly toppled what the repugs stand for and it has fallen right on the shoulders of bush himself.

I say forget about Kerry.....forget about Gore..Forget about Edwards and Clark...lets work on drafting Sen. Reid for president in 08, he has my respect.

10. How do you know??
All we know is he's pro-life. I am too but I'm also pro-choice and for keeping Roe V Wade because I know not everybody believes like I do. It's a personal choice. Does anybody know how Reid would vote on that? But yes he's a great leader. I would love if in 2006 we get to impeach Bush and put in Pelosi and she gets Reid as her VP. Now that would be an amazing team!

2. Uh, I guess...
I just watched the replay of his comments on the Miers withdrawal and he sounds pretty sincere about the ridiculous idea of having her on the court. If we can get someone like Rove to manage him, hell, anything's possible.

Let him lead Democratics to a majority in 2006 first and then we can consider him for 2008.

6. Maybe the initial recommendation to Bush to nominate Miers
was brilliant but I wish he hadn't gotten in front of the Senate today to still laud her capability. I think most people are recognizing the fact that she was not qualified. I wish he had just said something about looking forward to the next nominee and left it at that. To me it looked like he was still endorsing someone who is woefully inadequate.

7. No....
Having had him as my Senator, I don't want him as my President. He has had too many back-door deals with Republicans in Nevada.

11. Well he voted to filibuster it first...
...better than Joementum who voted yes on cloture and no on the bill itself. The cloture vote is the one that really counted.

13. Nah
He's been too weak in the past. I like someone with balls. And we've got several of them already around, including Barbara Boxer, Kerry, Clinton, Henry Waxman, and John Edwards, not to mention all the good candidates from 2004 as well: Kucinich, Clark, Howard Dean, and a few others. Anyone who has EVER bowed to Bush needs to have his or her ass wiped.
