(actually the post is more complicated and somewhat interesting)

dxnewman's post

I'm not convinced the revolutionary war was justified from a Christian's biblical perspective.
I'm not convinced the taking of Indian lands was justified from a Christian's biblical perspective.
Therefore, I'm not convinced we live in a legitimate nation which exists by legitimate means.

If Jesus told Peter to put down the sword in defending the very Son of God how much more are we today to put down the sword to defend a lesser form of government.

Kent Hovind once said something to the effect of, "When someone asks you, 'Should there be prayer in public schools?' say to them, 'You're asking the wrong question. The issue is whether or not there should be public schools.'"

I am not (as are many of my brothers and sisters in Christ) convinced that we have any obligation to the US constitution, except to abide by it unless the Word of God directs otherwise. There are some things our country may ask us to do that we simply cannot, because we are first and foremost citizens of heaven, and are to obey and adhere to God's Word. Not praying in school, for example cannot be obeyed by a child of the King of heaven and earth.

2.  God hears what is in our hearts
Therefore kids can pray in schools without any other human even knowing what they are doing. They do not have to pray out loud in front of other children that believe otherwise.

3. The only correct way to pray is in private, and in silence, according
to the words of Jesus. So sitting in school praying silently works. Making a public spectacle of it is against the teachings of Christ.

4. I agree totally
for it says "Be not as the Publicans that shout their prayers from the streets to say, See how holy I am."
