10. Different types of humor, both uproariously funny. |
|
I am so happy Colbert could make a series about represenative districts so pricelessly funny ...
Now he's tossing to a morning program called "Yet Another Day".
If they do a morning program I may actually turn on CC during the day.

11. The Jeff Daniels Interview was great too! |
|
It was a really good episode. I've only managed to catch 4 so far, but I have watched clips online. Daniels had no idea how to react (actually to be honest, he seemed a little pissed, like he was hoping to actually say something) - whatever, it was extremely funny.
I liked the "better-know-a-district" segment better than "The Word." And the whole "Supreme Court shelf of broken dreams" was uproariously funny.

13. Yeah, TDS was really good too tonight |
|
The Miers-stuff is really funny and even funnier - and totally, utterly baffling - was the middle segment with Samantha Bee about a guy who's selling a type of tofu meant to have the texture of... human flesh (??!!!!). There aren't enough adjectives to describe how outrageous that segment was - and totally worth it. The interview is good too, as is the moment-of-zen.

14. Was that real? A lot of times they interview people who are real. |
|
But I think the product was too weird to be real.

17. Most of the video is at the Comedy Central website |
|
Except for the one I think was the best so far, his re-editing of the Kay Baily Hutchinson Sunday morning interview, inter-cut with the Hurricane Wilma reporter. That was great! Videos here: < http://www.comedycentral.com/shows/the_colbert_report/index.jhtml> Or and here's his Fan site too: < http://www.colbertnation.com/colbertnation/>
