Did anyone else see Samantha Bee's Daily Show interview tonight?
I did think it was very funny, but...

For those who missed it, she interviewed a guy who has created, and is planing to sell a New Tofu Treat that has the taste and supposedly the consistency of...

...Human Flesh!

But the whole time I kept wanting her to ask the guy, Um, how do you know that it has the flavor of Human Flesh?!?!?

O.K., the interview might have crossed over the, "That's not funny, that's SICK" line, but really, shouldn't the police be investigating this guy?

4. I think they find them through the wire service feeds.
Both AP and Reuters have "Weird News" sections.

Reuters
Oddly Enough

AP

And yes, I Do think that guy saw completely serious about his "New Product."

I'm not a Psychiatrist, but I think the guy is a Psychopath.

3. I was actually having dinner at that point.... *yikes
If she hadn't made the comment about not making her "excited"... I would have yaked my dinner rather than spitting part of it across the room.

12. Not really, now I'm REALLY confused...
Here's a quote from the website:

"Serano Nanito
These native dumplings filled with hufu (or human flesh), sago and yam are prized for their taste as well as their ability to make you fierce and brave in tribal combat."

"...hufu (or human flesh)..."??? Kind of like when they say on the potato chips bag, "contains Soy Oil, Peanut Oil, Palm Oil, or Safflower Oil..."

13. No "tastes like chicken" jokes yet?
But seriously, do you suppose human flesh falls into the white or red meat category? The other other white meat? How does it affect cholestorol? And if a nice bottle of kee-yan-tee goes well with liver and fava beans, what would go well with ribs and potato salad?

14. Remember the name: Mark Nuckols
Pronounced "Knuckles." With his dreams as a future arms dealer, Mr. Nuckols is sure to be someone of whom it will be said, "I knew he was a sick fuck when he first showed up trying to sell people-flavored soyburger."

From his FAQs:

Mark Nuckols is the founder and CEO of Hufu, LLC. Mark graduated with honors in 2002 from the Georgetown University Law Center and is a member of the New York State bar. After practicing corporate law in London and Washington, DC for two years, Mark enrolled in the MBA program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where he is currently finishing his first year.

15. What's weird is that earlier this evening there was a thread
about the Donner crossing, how O'Reilly thought it was in Colorado, or something.

And on PBS was the the whole story of the Donners and the other family and how they were stranded, etc.

And then, this report.
