Ted Koppel REALLY pissed me off on
Nightline tonight. For those who missed it he had on David Frum and George Will. It's hard for me to say but I agreed with the Republicans. George Will is correct. 1.4 MILLION Lawyers are NOT qualified for SCOTUS and Miers is one of them. She would have a chance like 'a snowball in hell' if it was not Bushit nominating her.
Koppel/Feinstein were wrong. This was not sexist. Anything she got she deserved. Bushit said many times, including the initial announcement,"I know here heart" FUCK her heart. What President would every say that about another man. The damn letters she wrote Bushit, I almost vomited. During these two weeks she reminded me of Karen Hughes. Just what we need is a cookie baking soccer mom on the Court
I'm all for woman reaching the stars but not when it is sexist pandering. Them we have achieved nothing. We spent decades overcoming the label she 'slept her way' to the top. Well this is just another version of it. I'll take McConnell over Miers any day of the week. A few days ago Charlie Rose had on Associate Justice Breyer on his show. Breyer said it is a daunting responsibility to be on the Court that is why NO president ever is REALLY sure how any one will vote. Bushit 41 learned that lesson!

RANT OVER!

1. Sexist, CRONY pandering

She bloody well wasn't qualified for the job. Period.

Heck, I didn't think Roberts was qualified, what w/ only 2 years of judicial experience -- aside from believing he's going to be an evil, corporatist cancer on the Court for years to come.

2. Good rant. I agree that it wasn't sexist, in general.
We can't know what everyone else thinks. I mean just look at Trent Lott. He said he didn't care if Bush's next nominee was "man, woman or even a minority." Who knew that Lott would accept a minority OR a human?

5. didn't see it, but this woman agrees....
She's no more a credit to "women" than any of the Bushbots who happen to be "female," "black," or member of any other under-represented minority. They wouldn't be in Bush's cabinet or administration if they were not singularly qualified in only ONE way and that is their "loyalty" to him.

6. It is sexist in the sense that it was a poison pill
Elevating clearly unqualified people is a backhanded way of destroying the competence of the group they belong to.

It's like underfunding schools and then screaming about how they are failing.

"...Bushit said many times, including the initial announcement,"I know her heart" FUCK her heart. What President would every say that about another man."

No, with men he sees their souls.... (puti poot)

To me, it doesn't matter what babybush sees, I wouldn't trust it or believe it!

I would not trust his intuition, interpretation, insight or anything he recommends!
