Tensions must be REALLY high in California. You have to see this...
video of a Republican woman getting her ass kicked by some other women who are very adamantly against Schwarzenegger and his initiatives.

3. She's not getting her ass kicked.
She got her sign ripped up, and isn't it interesting that all the cameras were interested in was showing that little bit of action. Oh yeah, and the mean-looking union members yelling and shaking their fists.

This is certainly nothing compared to what happened to anti-Bush protesters at the GOP convention.

4. She got whapped on the head by signs, got her hat snatched off her head...
and in other ways was "manhandled."

Forgive my southern lexicon. Down here, what happened to her would be termed as getting one's ass kicked, whether physically or verbally.

8. Actually, the signs were screening her face from the camera, she wasn't
whapped in the head.

Her hat was another piece of campaign schwag, and although at first it shocked me, on a second viewing I understood why it was removed. She was what we 'round here would call a troll. And she got some bites.

All for the cameras.

She seemed completely fine when interviewed later.

And, by the way, she's a Freeper.

5. Wowww
thanks for posting this, I never watch local news. I wish those people hadn't done that to that lady.

The report did hint at lots of opposition to Ahhnold, so that's reassuring.

28. I'm walking my precinct.
I've never seen anything like the anger at Schwarzenegger. People are very happy to see me. They are furious, outraged, there is hardly a word harsh enough for Schwarzenegger. He is HATED. It seems odd to me that he does not seem to notice it. In this morning's LA Times, on page 8B. there is a photo of Schwarzenegger offering a handshake to firefighters who refuse to shake his hand. One of them has his hands folded behind his back. And that is firefighters. They are not what you usually think of as left-wing extremists. Nurses, teachers, police officers and firefighters have had enough of this guy. Schwarzenegger is a total fraud. He promised not to take money from special interests and has done nothing else. He said he would get rid of fat in government, and apparently never found any to get rid of. His government is a fiasco. By the way, I am not a public employee, not a teacher, nurse, firefighter or police officer. I'm just angry at what is happening to California.

29. Do you get the impression that his waste of money special election
is gonna fail miserably? I do. That's peaking too soon but he doesn't seem to have much support. I will sure as hell be voting against his lies on November 8th. And I'm not a teacher, firefighter, nurse, or in a union myself, either. I will almost certainly be raising my child here and the school are in bad enough shape as it is.

And that clip is courtesy of KCBS, the Los Angeles affiliate of CBS owned by Viacom.

The media is NOT our friend.

11. I was glad to see so many people at the rally.
And several shots of the crowd showed how well attended it was.

But I don't live in California in this station's market, so I'm not aware of how CBS2 edits its video.

35. No matter where the clip came from,
it's obviously real! The camera doesn't lie.I hate when our side does things like this.It just ends up looking heavy handed and thuggish.Let the idiots talk,it's a free country and we can win with words without attempting to physically silence the opposition.

18. More on Genevieve
Facing north, it was Bush people to the right, anti-Bushes to the left. The veritable standoff had Genevieve Peters beaming. The 41-year-old teacher and Beverly Hills resident founded L.A. for Bush. “It started out with eight people around a table, and it’s grown to hundreds — hundreds and hundreds,” said Peters. Democrats, she explained, “stand for hate and for vengeance and a globalization that has no strength or character or anything that’s for America. America, from the beginning of time, had an identity and culture. And they’re trying to decimate our identity and culture . . . to some melting pot like Europe.”

She added, “Democrats have gone in and said, ‘We’re just all one. Every culture has a place here.’ No! We’re an American culture.”

WTF is up with her fondling those young solders? CREEPY HORNY OLD HAG!:wtf:

I admire her GUTS to go into the middle of that crowd alone to spout her bullshit.

IF Dem politicians could muster half her guts, the Bush cabal will be gone before the end of the current term.

33. No, it takes guts to stand your ground in the middle of an angry crowd
if you can't see that then its no wonder the Dems keep losing - NEVER underestimate your enemy. So far that hasn't been a problem for the Repubs because the Dems can't seem to run away from a fight fast enough.

She was like a suicide bomber - I may not agree with her message, but I have to respect the courage it took for her to stand up and say what she believed in - regardless of the danger to herself - and not back down no matter how hard the backlash was.

Does that NOT sound like the kind of thing you wish Dem leaders would do?
