The Dems are getting it. A single song sheet on Miers
Edited on Fri Oct-28-05 08:03 AM by Husb2Sparkly
For those of you who say the Dems just don't get it, and I am one, it is sweet to see the party's singular message on the Miers nomination and subsequent withdrawal.

Leader Reid was the first to issue a statement. Chairman Dean was next. Senators Boxer, Kerry, Shumer, Harkin, Durbin, others all followed.

The message was correct. The message was clear. The message was singular.

Harriett Miers was sunk by the Extreme Right Wing of the President's own party.

The President showed weakness in not standing up to a 'minority' of his own party.

The President needs to serve the needs of all Americans, not just the extremists in his own party.

I, for one, am pleased to see some party discipline. I am also pleased to see that the usual Democratic Judasgoats have been noticeably absent from the airwaves.

<Edited to add the word 'Extreme'>

3. Amen, glad to see it
Let's hope it continues and that we begin to see a state of the art communications strategy from Dem leaders.

5. Right wing litmus test
Right wing judges to implement their ideology. Heard Leahy on CNN this morning saying that, very targeted and I hope we hear alot more of it.
