771 Wounded in one week!

The dod usually updates the wounded in Iraq once a week. They give the number of wounded that were returned to duty and also give the number of wounded that were not returned to duty.
The total of wounded to date is 15,991, and last week it was 15,220. An increase of 771 wounded.

The number of wounded usually goes up by 150 to 200 on average per week.

Of the 771 reported wounded for this week only 93 were returned to duty. This is very inconsistent with the past history.

Three things could have happened.

1) The number of wounded could be a typo.
2) The dod did a catch up.
or 3) Something has gone terribly wrong in Iraq this past week!

If something has gone wrong the Bush administration does not want us to know about it.
