For all of those who felt down about the indictment, something to |
|
consider.
When Clinton recovered from the blue dress scandal,
-the economy was doing great, and we had an amazing surplus, so most of us didn't care because our families were being taken care off, -there were very well funded social services, -technology was still led by US, -gas prices were not an issue, -no soldiers had died for a lie, -there was no war or devastating hurricanes, -none of his top officials were indicted or under any "serious investigation" that exposed the highest level of corruption in a US admin, -there wasn't a Delay or Frist case he could have been associated with, -he could make an entire sentence without any help (and for that matter used his own brain) -the world didn't hate the US and our image wasn't damaged as it is today, -our major corporations were still world leaders and the stockholders were mostly US based, -there weren't bloggers challenging MSM and getting their readers/viwers away from their venues, -and many other things that many of you can probably remember better than I can.
Now, think about Reagan's recovery from Iran Contra.
I think this indictment and the continuing investigation will be very difficult for him or his admin to recover from and I think the anger from the masses will only grow, and grow and grow.
Wouldn't you think?

1. Yes all those problems exist for Shrub. The other thing that's |
|
worse than Frist, DeLay and Scooter is the Jack Abramoff trials.
Almost EVERY top Pub has reeived money from Jack! Jak has already been indicted too!
Howard Dean has the right approach. Just keep repeating "The Party of Corruption!"
