Using Tv and fiction writers in real politics.
Bear with me, I am fleshing out an idea here. As I watch West Wing and other shows written the same way (yes,I know Sorkin left, the latest round of writers have been doing pretty well) an idea forms. WHy is is such a stretch to have people who are conceiving these ideas to work on ACTUAL political campaigns and in think tanks? They may take story cues from healines, but just as often they seem to scour their brains for different scenarios that COULD happen. Often, they think "outside the box" as it were; and have hit upon a real scenario that has actually come to be more than once. They also have a good grasp of history so as to facilitate their story lines. Isn't this a good skill to have to move a party foreword? To arm it against a very inventive spin machine aggressor?
Some form of this idea is sure to have some application. Help is appreciated, feel free to tell me I am bat shit crazy; just please be fairly nice about it................thanks.

1. The Media is already embedded with politics.
It's hard to tell the difference. Fiction writers doing scenario's. Well, this whole Bush Installation and everything that goes with it is already a spy novel. Except instead of a fictional one...it's REAL....Reality TV that we live in.

2. I 'm saying in essence
that we need creative inspiration that they can give and we need to think "ouside the box". They should be a good source of ideas.......
