Georgie STEP's panel GASPED, when they pondered Shrub's supposed dilemma, that KKKarl had -------LIED------to him about his involvement in Traitorgate. What, oh what, should Shrub DO?---he must do SOMEthing---they marveled.

Then our pal Kookie ROBERTS said that one good woman to take O'CONNOR's seat might be Kay Bailey HUTCHINSON, the staff-beater and crook, on the grounds that "she is LOVED in the Senate----really, really LOVED!"

And Warren HARDING-lookalike/be-alike TX Senator CORNYN said that because there was only one person indicted it meant that "nothing went beyond one person's" misdeeds, although he simultaneously said that that person is to be presumed innocent.

The whole pretense is to attempt to give credit for SOMEthing while avoiding his responsibility for anything that goes wrong. Thus, they attempt to praise his "decision" to nominate ROBERTS, who was in the nomination pipeline for years. They wonder how he could be SO BRILLIANT there then "stumble" in naming MIERS. Actually, MIERS is what he wanted to do and ROBERTS was just there already. The next, predictably wild-Wingnut choice is being DICTATED to him by his own Talibaners. There really is no "leadership" to see here.
