Who Borked Miers? You can't hide you're lyin' eyes.
The right has wailed about Bork for the past umpteen years, but THEY Borked Miers, and even Bork took the whuppin' stick in hand and flogged her. But now that they're all dancing in the end zone, they don't want to accept responsibility for taking her down.

Oh no. It's protecting presidential papers. It's avoiding her ruling on issues she dealt with in the White House. David Frum can't even keep a straight face while he spreads his morning manure. It would take a lemonade milkshake to get the smile off Bill Kristol's face, and you couldn't get Pat Buchanan's smile off with a Brillo pad.

1. The Wingnuts Could Not Risk Having DOBSON & BAUER Under Oath
And ROBERTSON! There in front of the cameras, having to reveal that KKKarl assured them their litmus results were assured. Revealing their ugly faces and innards to the country-------that's what sank MIERS.

2. That was mentioned on cspan on the WJ this AM.
They had 2 guests, both reporters. One Dem and one Pub. The Dem said it's about time that the Pubs stopped using Borking as a verb! He said that's exactly what the RW did to Harriett.

Of course it won't matter to them. They've already said if Shrub doesn't chose an acceptable SC nominee this time, they'll be just as forceful against him!

4. That was Corn, and he's so right!
Corn comes down on Libby!

There's a veggie eats man story!

But that was another topic they talked about. It was Corn's comments that inspired this thread. He's right. They Borked her, and now they want to act like they didn't.

Rosa Parks wasn't mugged this bad a few years ago.

3. I think the most laughable irrational spin came from Coulter.
She admits that Coulter was trounced by the conservatives, but BECAUSE Miers was picked by Harry Reid. So, in other words, they had to Bork her because the Liberals wanted her.

7. Good job for making sense of my post! I freudianly wrote an incorrect
name.

I meant to say:

She admits that MIERS was trounced by the conservatives, but <only> BECAUSE Miers was picked by Harry Reid. So, in other words, they had to Bork her because the Liberals wanted her
