Yep, they are still out there. Some say they would vote the same way again - even though they know the two parties differ greatly. Would you be willing to vote for a Democrat that voted for the war because he's/she was lied to - taking heart in the fact that there will be no more wars!? Or, would you refuse to vote for any Democrat that voted for the war in spite of the fact that people might continue to die at the hands of the Neocon lead US Government because you want to be "right?" Or, do you think it is best we pretend that PNAC does not exist and is not an important issue and that somehow your purist vote will benefit progressives and the nations most vulnerable?

1. You mean to say voted for those who trusted Bush not to lie

and go to war under the provisions listed under the IWR? You see the IWR was not written with the words "We Love War yes we want war" as so many even on this forumn choose to interpret it as.

Now where I stand on this is any candidate who comes forward as John Kerry did and says "We were lied to we were duped I wouldn't trust * again" that's acceptable to me.

On the other hand in taking with the point of your post I agree, I'll go so far as to say that despite my major differences with Hillary from everything from her current stance on the war to that STUPID ASS Media Marketing Accountability Act her and Joementum penned I would still vote for her over ANY Repuke, because at this point I refuse to trust any Puke in office for any reason I don't care I'd much rather have a Democrat whom I disagree with on some issues and whom I would join everyone in protesting if they didn't wise up as opposed to some Puke whose loyalty is to the PNAC and the top 5% and no amount of protesting will sway over.

(I use Hillary as an example because she's dead bottom at my list of candidates I'd want for pres on the Democratic side)

It's like I told the Young Communists at school during election time-I'd much rather see them protesting John Kerry as Pres than * because the difference is someone like Kerry at least has the nation's best interests in mind and is not beholden to the PNAC and Big Oil.

5. Thanks well it goes with my point that no matter who is in charge
Hold their feet to the fire. I personally thought Kerry was a great guy since before he even ran for pres, but I believe that since we are a nation built on revolution I would join the masses in protesting his policies just the same if he didn't sway far enough from the * machine.

Difference is though BIG difference I should say is that Kerry or Hillary or any other candidate who isn't far enough to the left to suit people's tastes you at least have a chance of them reaching out and listening to the people listening to what they want and negotiation is possible whereareas with the Pukes in power, forget it, you dissent you earn a trip to Gitmo pure and simple.

2. yes and no....
Yes, I will certainly "vote against the continuation of the PNAC/fascist agenda," but I will NOT "vote for a Democrat that voted for the war." Thankfully, there will be other candidates to support if the dems can't find one who had the courage to lead the nation AWAY from an illegal invasion rather than TOWARD one.

4. Well, I doubt it will come down to that frankly. But if I had to choose
it's gonna be the Dem, hands down!
