The media seems to be more truthful of late. Is this a trend? Blood in the water? An abberration?

2. Feeding frenzy

That's basically what gets them going. Most of the time they seem so passive and blase. It takes something like this or Katrina to wake them up and get them on the ball. I just hope there isn't a celeb crime or some other low rank news item that takes the focus off these national issues.

I rely more on print media these days than televised.

In my opinion they only appear to be coming around because if they didn't report on these latest BIG issues, they would blatantly expose themselves for what they are.
