Is the "culture of corruption" getting repuke reps mad?
At our local peace group meeting in Newton County AR, we had a report from one of our members who went to the big peace rally. On Monday, she lobbied for peace with our congressional delegation-our two senators are Dems, but our conman is a repuke (Boozman of the 3rd congressional district). Our rep handed him a letter/petition, which he read. She said that when he got to the part about the corruption and cronyism of this administration, he read the sentences out loud as he got red then purple in the face. He was really mad (could it be because he received thousands from DeLay's PAC?) and spouted off to our rep about it.

I was wondering if anyone else got a reaction like this from a repuke in congress. I'm thinking that what we need to do is keep on calling/emailing/writing these bozos asking them about these topics, as it is obviously something that they know is true and which really rankles them. If enough do, maybe they will also start getting a wee bit scared....after all, election time is only a year away.

2. Congress critters
don't like that name. Since it places the entire congress in jepardy and not just Bush. Bush isn't running for re-election in '06.

3. If it is, that means it's working...people are listening and understanding
and it's getting legs.

That would be great. :-)
