1. Ah well, it doesn't matter anyway.
He never takes anyone else's advice because he always thinks that he knows best. People could give him a list of things he could do that would raise his poll numbers by 40 percent and he still wouldn't do them because that's not the kind of president he is.

3. The only thing he can do is pad his ass with rubber.
All the yacking is a waste of time.

It gives the crackpot base who are content with corruption their talking points, but it's pretty much worthless to the rest of America.

9. No, he has to do something else...
He needs to fire all these people:
The Vice President Richard Cheney
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice
Secretary of the Treasury John Snow
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld
Attorney General Alberto Gonzales
Secretary of the Interior Gale A. Norton
Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns
Secretary of Health and Human Services Mike Leavitt
Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Alphonso Jackson

We'll also need the resignations of:
Speaker of the House John Dennis Hastert
President pro tempore of the Senate Ted Stevens

*Then* he can resign, allowing Democrat Norman Maneta to become the 44th president of the United States. :)

8. it's desperate

The basic poll numbers show real recovery is impossible. They're just being cargo cultists at this point.

(In the New Solomons or New Guineau jungles in the late Forties, anthropologists saw local people cutting what seemed to be airstrips in the jungle and erecting what looked like control towers out of tree wood. The people figured if they set these fields up right, metallic 'birds' would just fly in with free magical goods (aka 'cargo') for them. Hey, it worked when white people- the U.S. Corps of Engineers- showed up and did it a few years earlier! Let's just say the results were not as good as they expected.)

10. All the talking head "Solutions" are pure "Image"
I have an idea: Do things that "Solve" the Country's Problems, not just Bush's Problems
