2. The $1,000,000 question |
|
I often ask myself.
As someone who called into C-SPAN on Friday phrased so aptly: "Some Americans don't want a president, they want a king".
Long live the King.

Prove to me that smart people support George W. Bush. WHen it comes to politics and personal beliefs, people oftentimes check their brains at the door. No one can think outside their box nor can they see anything outside of their party lines. People still think Nixon got done wrong. People think that Rosa is a dumb lazy bitch. People think that slavery wasn't too bad because some got SUndays off (for real, I've heard this).

But he still supports Dubya. Not near as much as he used to, but he still does. I guess as far as the proving it goes, you'll just have to take my word for it. I'm working on him though.

You don't question God's decision to send us a President to save us from Saddam's 9/11 terrorists and balance the federal budget by simultaneously cutting taxes and increasing spending. Bush is God's miracle!

These people have a penchant to follow blindly. These people are a danger to American security because they condone KNOWN criminals and thugs. The Cabal of bush apologists is the greatest danger this country and its freedom has ever laid eyes upon. The followers are James Jonesian phsycopaths

That's all. That's why if the Democrats ever put some one up as dumb as Bush (which I don't think they ever will), I better not hear the republicans complain.

but I became aware of what a fucktard he was as gov of texas and did everything in my power to keep him from becoming pres.
On that cold rainy day in Jan 2001, I sat crying watching the tv.
On november 3 2004, I cried again.
October 31 2005 I am still crying

Show me a die hard Bush fan and I will show you a racist/greedy person. That's the common thread for them. Whether smart or dumb. Everything else be damned.
This is why they vote against their own best interest. For them the sacrifice is worth it.

for Dubya are racist and greedy. I think some people are so wrapped up in day to day living that they forget the big picture, and don't ever think about how their vote actually affects them in the long run. Some people may be lazy, or maybe they are just overwhelmed with making a living. I'm sure many don't know how to start disseminating media information and just don't know who to believe, either.
I know good people who truly believe Dubya was trying to save the world- maybe they swallowed the hype, but they aren't racist or greedy. I wish I could call them dumb, but I don't think that is true, either. They simply need the right information.

Most of the Bush supporters you speak of have jumped ship.

I don't know what that means, unless it's a metaphor for treason with a built-in rationalization.

19. I saw them itching to follow Quayle to "hell and back" |
|
after poppy was defeated. I knew then that they were dedicated to having the country run by a know-nothing frat rat who never had to work a day in his worthless life. They got their wish two terms later and they've learned how to steal national elections so they can ensure we never again have a president of the People. Ain't life grand!
